It's safe to say we've imported more than our fair share of performance Hondas over the years. However, when it comes to the perfect Honda for daily use you may wish to dig that little bit deeper…
Just some of the popular Honda models for daily use include the Civic, CR-V, Fit & Jazz. These cars are known for their reliability & low cost ownership. But what if you want something with a focus on driver enjoyment whilst managing to tick all of the practical boxes?
Well, we think we've got two fantastic options! The JDM Honda CR-Z & Honda Accord Tourer. Both affordable and extremely well built, we regularly sell these models through our showroom and Personal Import Service.
Although similar in some ways, they are quite obviously different in the sense that the Accord is an estate with a K24A under the bonnet, mated to an auto gearbox and the CR-Z is a sportier looking, hybrid coupe with a 6 speed manual and 1.5 iVTEC engine.
Again, which would suit you better entirely depends on your personal situation. Got a family and a dog? Then the Accord is for you.
Less worried about that extra big boot in exchange for a bit more driver focus? Then you may be swayed by the agile CR-Z.
Whichever you choose, the driving experience is typically Honda. Nice inputs, responsive front end and a willingness to rev out when the mood takes you. Okay, neither are a fully fledged Type R but we’re talking about daily use here. Cars that won’t fall short on a long commute but still tackle a twisting road when the mood takes you!
