The 5 Step Process

1: Hand Picked For You

Using our knowledge and experience built up over the years we can guide you as to which cars and auctions will best suit your needs.

2: Inspection

Once we have located a suitable vehicle, we arrange for our Japanese team to inspect the vehicle in the flesh. Only if the engineers report meets both yours and our standards will we bid up to a pre-agreed budget.

3: Purchase

We agreed a sale! The Japanese car costs are now due and your vehicle will be deregistered in Japan. It’s then transported to our secure compound and booked on the next vessel for export. At this stage you will be emailed a detailed photo album.

4: Stress Free import

We’ve been doing this for years. With our added value service we take care of all the hassle involved in the process. We’ll be able to give you a more accurate ETA at this point.

5: Drive Away

Once at Torque GT your vehicle will undergo all necessary UK conversions and compliance testing before UK registration. At this stage we can discuss any extra servicing work, upgrades, underbody protection of detailing services that you require before collection.

Importing a vehicle from Japan costs much more than the purchase price alone, total landed cost includes the vehicle, buyer’s fees, shipping, UK duty and VAT, and compliance/registration. This should all be factored in within your total budget.

The Hybrid Racing Formula induction kit is of a very high quality, everything that you need is in the box, and my first impressions after fitting and driving my car for a short distance is that it has improved the sound immensely and given the car more power. If you are looking for an induction kit for the Honda Civic Type R fk8 I would highly recommend it.

Awesome upgrade over the standard bushes. This together with a Hybrid Racing V2 short shifter completely transformed the shifter in the EP3. The bushes are quick and easy to fit as well. Defo recommended.

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than

Gorgeous set of wheels, definitely lighter than the stock sti wheels. Only thing I regret is not checking the concave properly. I thought the concave would be proportional to the offset however there are set concaves 1 to 5 , ones I’ve found of this wheel spec can be up to a C-3. Non the less this wheel as C-2 still looks awesome.
