Subaru Impreza WRX STi Sport Wagon

The Subaru Impreza WRX STi Sport Wagon is a JDM only variant and now a very rare site. In the UK the hottest version of the ‘Bugeye’ Sport Wagon available was a WRX model.

Japan’s even hotter version adopting those three iconic pink letters ‘STi’ takes everything up a notch… The 'Bugeye' WRX STi Sport Wagon was the last generaton to be produced from the Subaru factory.

In the showroom we have this Subaru Impreza WRX STi Sport Wagon (Version 7), finished in White with Subaru’s classic rally style gold 17" STi alloy wheels.

A massive benefit of this generation Impreza is the engine… Coming with the EJ207 semi closed deck engine block with forged pistons from the factory, it is considered by many to be the strongest of all the EJ series engines.

Other features include large ported cylinder heads to allow better flow and throttle response, 6 speed manual STi gearbox, VF30 turbo charger, R180 larger drive shafts, R180 Rear differential, 4 pot Subaru front brake callipers and 2 pot rear Subaru brake callipers. Standard power is rated at 280bhp.

In superb condition throughout, this example has covered a respectable 95,516 miles since 2002 which is backed up with a JEVIC import certificate to verify and authenticate the mileage.

Imported from Japan in November 2020, the most recent owner has had it serviced and MOT’d each year since, with no advisories.

This car has been truly cherished with its owner going to great lengths to make this a fine example. Work includes a glass-out re-spray when imported, refurbished gear knob and handbrake, new clutch within the last couple thousand miles, Michelin Pilot Sport 4s fitted, cambelt kit & wax oil under seal - the underside is very clean.

Within the last 1,500 miles it has had the following modifications carried out by TDRacing… A set of coilovers, cold air induction kit, uprated fuel pump & decat downpipe, giving the car 325 BHP! It has also been serviced by TDRacing since.

The Sport Wagon variant of the ‘Bugeye’ WRX STi gives you a package that blends practicality and performance... A very attractive combination for many!

Whether the tarmac is dry, wet or covered in snow, the turbo power mated to Subaru’s legendary all wheel drive setup helps this wagon cover ground at a serious rate.
