The OEM Nissan MAF housing pipes are a well documented restriction when chasing power, particularly if you've upgraded to a more modern ECU setup that swaps to MAP sensors. By leaving the MAF sensor housings in place, an unnecessary restriction to air flow is left in place, robbing you of potential performance and is ultimately unnecessary.
Despite being slightly larger in diameter where the pipe meets the bell mouth on the air box, the T7 MAF delete pipes directly replace the standard housing. This increased size provides a 34% boost in cross-sectional area. The pipe then gradually tapers down to meet the turbo inlet hose.
