Turbo blankets which are also known as turbo jackets are designed to keep radiant heat in that is produced from your turbocharger. Our turbo blankets are designed to be heated and cooled substantially and hold up in the harshest heat cycles. When a car has a turbocharger fitted it creates a massive amount of heat in the engine bay. This decreases performance as the colder the air going into the engine the more power the car can make.
Our Exoracing turbo blanket has been designed to fit very comfortably over the hot side of the turbo and will fasten for a secure fit using the anchor hook and spring fasteners. Our V3 is our brand-new release with a few extra features including a wire mesh inside to keep the turbo blanket more rigid whilst being sat over the turbocharger, which in turn has a much longer lifespan than previous versions. We have also now integrated a 4-layer design which has much higher heat installation properties than previous blankets.
