Our Exoracing heat sleeve reflective barriers are a state-of-the-art polymer laminated glass cloth that is extremely light weight and capable of handling continual operating temperatures of 850°F/450°C. They are mainly used in trying to protect vital lines in your engine bay from heat soak, or heat damage which will occur over time or if you are reaching dangerously high manifold temperatures.
The reflective heat sleeve offers considerable weight savings over similar types of materials yet still reflects 80 percent of radiant heat. Requiring minimal clearance our reflective heat sleeving is highly conformable whilst also being sewn to easily push over hoses. Popular uses include oil feed lines, oil drain lines, coolant lines, power steering lines, or any other line that could risk damage from exposure to a heat source.
