And this is one of those occasions! There are some world class bodykit manufacturers in Japan and its clear this series 8 RX7 has been breathed on by one of them...
Often we see poorly fitted kits on RX7s but you can tell this one has been put together properly with no flimsy features or uneven panel gaps. The car has a real time-attack prowess about it, as if born on the infamous tarmac of Suzuka. needless to say you can probably imagine the confused looks we recieved driving this track weapon around quaint moorland villages!
Celebrating Japanese car culture and the unique creativity that goes on in the land of the rising sun this is a car that screams attention. The RX7 lends itself well as a platform for cosmetic modifications being such a purposeful shape to begin with. The orginal swoops and curves have tranformed into wide arches, extended wings and splitters.
Now we're sure many will prefer the orignal lines as its arguably one of the best looking cars to come out of Japan... but there's nothing wrong with expressing a bit of personality and whilst a great condition stock example is often considered more desirable and collectible we love that creations like this exist!
