Dixcel are a Japanese brake manufacturer, specialising exclusively in premium quality brake discs and pads, catering for regular street users, right the way up to extreme racing use. Used by race teams throughout Japan in the Japanese Super GT and Super Taikyu, as well as the Australian GT and Asian GT race series. The Dixcel catalogue is extensive, covering all manner of Japanese models.
At the top of the performance rotor range from Dixcel is the FC Type. Combining the very best manufacturing techniques and know-how in the Dixcel armoury, FC Type is intended to be the best performance rotor you've ever bought. Perfectly suited to use on the road, the technology that goes into it is most effective on track.
Featuring a new 8 curved slot design which enables high friction from cold and stability under high brake load. The slot layout was selected after extensive testing with dynamometers and test cars on circuit to prove performance.
Each rotor is made from a high carbon material, strengthening the molecular bond and improving overall durability. Once manufactured, each FC Type rotor is then heat treated to further strengthen the disc material and prevent issues from repeated expansion and contraction.
