The DC5 is one of the most popular 'real world' performance cars to come out of Japan. Relatively affordable, reliable Honda engineering and decent daily running costs make it a great choice.
Although superb straight out of the box the DC5 is a great platform to modify from, and with a vast choice of aftermarket parts available for the K20A engine its no surprise we spotted this track prepared example in Japan recently.
From what we can interpret, this DC5 has been stripped out, fitted with a roll cage and treated to a set of BRIDE bucket seats, 5ZIGEN muffler, Voltex GT wing, Endless brakes, Regamaster wheels and full aerokit. Its safe to say that there will be a far longer list of mechanical modifications not shown in the ad!
A 2005 model with 99,000km on the clock, being offered for ¥3,180,000 JPY (Just over £21K GBP). Arguably a lot for a DC5, but we imagine the price is trying to be justified by the many hours of work that has gone into this machine.
